    Lord, You Have Been Scammed!

See your people, Lord. Just look at us! Who exactly is your problem? We or them? Lord, can't you see that you've been scammed? The gun you picked up to shoot has no bullet. How can it have when the pastor is asking his members to donate to missions while he uses the money to fund his international account?

    I Refuse to be Savage.

While I was in the university, students of Mass Communication were usually categorised as "great talkers", always having an answer to any question; great defenders of a cause. "You really don't want to get into an argument with them", you'll be advised. I and two friends used to be grouped amongst these people and we were proud about it. Be Careful Not to Eat Scorpions

My neighbour was just rushed to the hospital. The boy ate a scorpion thinking it was meat. I mean I can't blame him, since he's only a child plus it was dark. Please help me pray for his quick recovery. And as you mention him in your prayers, please pray for yourself too or your friends that none of you will eat scorpions in place of meat too. But I'm afraid for you.

TRUTH OR DIE? (A Short Story)

As Kingsley Ejikeme took his fifth bite of the spicy gala sausage roll in his hands, he suddenly remembered where he had seen the boy that had given him the gala before. His uncle was Ifeanyi Anyanwu, his old friend. His forty-four-year-old hands shook once but he clenched them. Could this be coincidence? He shook off the foreboding feeling but it was too late. It had already taken root. At home, that evening, his hands paused at the eba and Onugbu soup that was his dinner. The thought of swallowing his favourite meal made his already unsettled stomach feel like emptying itself. His mind was on only one thing- A…

All Christians Ought To Be Avengers!

I’m pretty sure you’ve seen Marvel’s superhero movie, The Avengers, the one with all the cute super heroes, explosive personalities and awesome powers. You may have been rooting for them through the sequels down to Avengers: End Game because I was too. I wanted to go mad when in Infinity Wars, Thor struck Thano’s chest (he’s the villain) instead of his arm giving him the chance to eliminate half of Earth’s population including Black Panther! That was the saddest part for me actually, that Panther had to go and was not seen again until Avengers; End Game’s concluding fight. If you’ve seen it, then I’m sure you have a favourite…
