The Unheard Tale of Kute Town

Do you know the story of Kute Town? It was a beautiful place famous for its naturally firm straw-like raw materials. These materials grew in five different colours. With time, the people had learnt to weave it fashionably and used it in everything the town did, from jewellery to construction.

One day, they had double the influx of people who usually visited to observe and be entertained by their highlife town culture. Describing the horror they had experienced as their towns had been ravished by catastrophic flames, they infected the town with panic.

When the number of refugees doubled the next week and tripled by the fourth, the people gathered for an emergency meeting.

“Let’s run away… to the mountains!”

“And abandon our legacy? No!”

“Let’s build shelters!”

“We don’t know when or even if the fire will happen, imagine how uncomfortable it will be just waiting! “

“We could pay watchmen…”

“From whose family?”

On and on they went until they did find a solution that pleased everybody.

Six weeks later, terrifying shrieks filled the midnight air as the town, its people and new refugees were wiped out by the devastating flames.

You see, their solution had been to build water systems everywhere in town to automatically flood the land at the push of a button and they had built it with the best of what they had – expensive straws, beautifully weak materials.

This is a lesson soon to be re-learned by men; nothing of the fashion, beauty, and comfort of the present world will survive the coming judgement on the Earth. Except those who have taken cover in the hills of God.
